Hector Perez, Selected as Mentor for Techstars New York City Powered by J.P. Morgan Accelerator

Hector Perez, President and CEO of strategic finance and business intelligence firm Quantum FBI, was recently selected as a mentor for Techstars New York City powered by J.P Morgan accelerator program and will act as an advisor to the next generation of start-up professionals.

Techstars’ mentorship initiative matches start-up founders and early-stage entrepreneurs with established industry leaders who can guide new companies as they establish themselves and scale their businesses. Through mentorship accelerators, Techstars mentees gain support from founders as they initiate a network of partners, investors, and other stakeholders. Mentors are what make Techstars unique and each Techstars program unique.

“I am honored to participate in this prestigious program that extends support to entrepreneurs as they embark on their professional journeys,” said Hector Perez.  “Reflecting on my experiences as a finance professional and founder, I find great value in sharing the lessons learned. This opportunity allows me to leverage my financial expertise in assisting fellow entrepreneurs. I am also passionate about advancing opportunities for minorities in technology-based startups and am committed to contributing to a more inclusive and thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem."

Mentors are individuals with deep industry, investment, or entrepreneurship experience. They work with the companies pro bono, without expectation of reward or compensation, will share of their knowledge and guidance freely, and will open their networks when appropriate. Mentors are what make Techstars unique and each Techstars program unique. The success of the companies are a direct result of the generous contributions of mentors. Currently, Techstars has nearly 4,000 active accelerator mentors.
